The purpose is of orientation to introduce new students to critical aspects of graduate student life. University administrators, the Graduate Studies staff, and advanced graduate students share advice on academic success. While this session is not mandatory, the information presented will be helpful as you begin graduate study at MU. Please note, registration is required for this event. Click here to register
Door prizes, donated by many campus entities and local businesses, will be given away after the event. Winners will be notified by email on Tuesday, August 14th. Check back for a list of generous donors.

Please join us in Jesse Hall for light refreshments, a small resource fair geared toward health and wellness services at MU, and networking with representatives from graduate student organizations. Staff members from the Office of Graduate Studies will also be on-hand. The Office of Graduate Studies staff will also be in attendence at the International Student Welcome Picnic on August 14th in Peace Park and the Welcome Week Resource Fair on August 17th in the Student Center.
