May 2015 Commencement Ceremonies

More than 1,000 graduate degree candidates will participate in the May 2015 Office of Graduate Studies' Commencement Ceremonies. 

The Commencement Ceremony for all Masters’s and Educational Specialist Candidates will be on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 7:30pm in the Hearnes Center. Candidates will be led by Educational Specialist Marshal Jeffrey Burgess of Information Science and Learning Technologies and Master’s Marshal Gretchen Stricker of Art History and Archaeology. Those chosen as marshals receive a commemorative sash are are the first of those degree candidates to receive their degree.

The Hooding Ceremony for all Doctoral Candidates will be on Saturday May 16 at 3:30 in Jesse Auditorium. Candidates will be led by Doctoral Marshal Vanessa Campagna of Theatre, who will be hooded by his faculty advisor, Dr. Cheryl Black. 

Tickets are not necessary. Friends and family members are invited to take photos and videos of the event.
