Graduate Student Association

GSA is a campus-wide organization that represents the interests and needs of graduate students to the faculty, supporting graduate students through funding (travel grants), special projects and social events. Graduate degree programs have designated representatives to GSA. Site Facebook

Graduate Professional Council

GPC is recognized as the official democratic government for graduate, professional and post-baccalaureate students at MU. GPC designs programs, provides resources, and serves academic, professional and social needs of students. Site Facebook

Association of Black Graduate and Professional Students

ABGPS seeks to assist in monitoring the academic progress of Black graduate and professional students, as well as supply them with information to promote a more positive experience at MU. Facebook

Alternative Career Exploration in the Sciences

Graduate Peer Mentors

The aims of this group are to help acclimate incoming students to life as a graduate student and to serve as ongoing peer mentors. 

Griffiths Leadership Society for Women

Griffiths is a catalyst for global connections among MU collegian leaders and alumnae. The organization is devoted to lifelong learning, leadership development, mentoring and supporting the best interests and traditions of Missouri’s flagship university. Facebook

National Networks

National Association of Graduate-Professional Students

National Black Graduate Student Association

The NBGSA is the nation’s largest interdisciplinary graduate organization for students of African descent. The association was established to address the needs and concerns of black graduate and professional students, and to encourage black undergraduates to pursue advanced degrees. Facebook

Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science

SACNAS is a society of scientists dedicated to fostering the success of  Chicano/Hispanic and Native American scientists—from college students to professionals—to attain advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in science. Site
