Chart Your Career Path
Your professional development (PD) process begins with a self-assessment of your current disciplinary and transferable skills.
Next, you will meet with a faculty mentor to discuss your strategy for professional development. As a suggestion, you might plan PD activities according to your stage of study.
Then you should explore learning opportunities to build your skills in order to achieve your PD goals.
Once you have identified your PD priorities, you will establish target dates for acquiring new skills and abilities, which you will document in an Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP).
