Thesis & Dissertation Process

The writing of a dissertation or thesis represents the culmination of years of study and research by a graduate student. This section includes extensive information on the process of writing a dissertation or thesis as well as guidelines regarding formatting and the inclusion of additional materials.

Master’s and doctoral students must confirm additional thesis or dissertation requirements with their advisers. Educational specialists have different degree completion requirements, such as exams and portfolios, and are advised to confirm those requirements with their advisers.
